<image:caption>Since 2016 Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in English from the University of Oregon and a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Oregon State University - Cascades, and holds certifications as a Community Health Worker, Family Support Specialist, and Sibshop Facilitator Trainer. In her decades of experience working in the human service field, Amanda has honed skills in behavior intervention, group facilitation, connecting individuals and families to meaningful resources, professional consultation, education advocacy, and leadership. Since 2004, just after her oldest daughter was born with Down syndrome, Amanda’s focus has been working with and advocating for people experiencing disabilities/diversabilities and their families. Amanda has served on several state and local boards, councils and committees and often speaks in classroom and conference settings. Currently, Amanda is a member of the City of Bend Accessibility Advisory Committee and participates in other committees and groups working to enhance services to our community. Outside of human service work, Amanda serves as the General Manager for her husband’s irrigation contracting company, a role that is now in its second decade. Amanda has particular interest in starting and operating small businesses including, to date, three nonprofits and two limited liability companies. Personally, Amanda’s three girls and her family’s small petting zoo keep her busy (2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 geckos). Amanda enjoys expanding cultural competency, traveling and frequently changing her hair style!</image:caption>

<image:caption>Since 2026 Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Idaho, where he also competed as a decathlete on the Vandals track and field team. After graduating, he stepped immediately into the world of coaching—a role that not only sharpened his leadership skills but also created an unexpected and meaningful connection to the developmental disabilities (DD) community through his collaboration with the Northwest Children’s Home in Idaho. Ian fully entered the DD services field in 2015, focusing his career on employment-related supports and community inclusion. Over the past decade, he has provided employment services across Washington, Idaho, Ohio, and Oregon. His work has included deep involvement in Employment First initiatives, building strong agency relationships, and contributing to system-wide collaboration. During his time in Ohio, Ian played an active role in the development of the Collaborative of Cuyahoga County, helping strengthen partnerships and expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities in the Greater Cleveland area. In 2023, Ian moved with his family to Central Oregon—a place that already felt like home. His great-great-grandfather once served as the physician in Madras, and Snook Lane still carries the family name today. Rooted in both personal history and a genuine connection to the community, Ian and his family are excited to build their lives in Central Oregon and contribute meaningfully to the region.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Since 2018 Sarah has been with Diversability since 2018 when she started as a Job Coach! She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a minor in Special Education from the University of Oregon. Born and raised in the Portland area, Sarah knew from a young age that working with individuals with diversabilities was her passion. In high school she volunteered as a peer tutor for students with diversabilities as well as worked in 3rd and 5th grade classrooms. During college Sarah volunteered with Special Olympics Oregon and worked as a Direct Support Professional on breaks. After graduation, Sarah interned for Special Olympics Oregon, continued working as a Direct Support Professional and traveled through Europe. Sarah returned to Portland to work as a Special Education Assistant, and then, after having vacationed in Central Oregon throughout her life, she decided it was time to finally make the permanent move to Bend. Sarah is a Certified Employment Support Professional and the Program Manager for the Employment Support team at Pathway Enterprises, Inc. Sarah’s wisdom in the field of Integrated Employment is well known and respected in the community. Sarah loves to hike, ski, hang at the local breweries and float the river! She is an avid traveler, having experienced many of our world’s great countries. Sarah is thrilled to continue to be a part of the Diversability Inc. After graduation, Laura worked in mental health for an agency in Boise where she had the good fortune of collaborating with the manager of the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) program. When the mental health program ended, Laura’s colleague recruited her to work in the I/DD program and Laura has never looked back! Laura’s love of the outdoors and desire for greater opportunities led her to Central Oregon where she has been a highly regarded Service Coordinator with Deschutes County Intellectual/Developmental Disability Program. As a committed community partner, Laura was instrumental in regional and state-wide Employment First Initiatives, is a founding member of the Happyning Hub, and actively participates on the Happyning Hub Advisory Committee. In recognition of her incredible work, Laura received a Service Provider of the Year Award at the 2025 Breaking Barriers conference! When Laura is not busy positively impacting her Central Oregon community, she is found at home relaxing and playing basketball with her husband and son. <image:caption>Diversability Inc. is a registered affiliate of the Sibling Support Project, with certification to facilitate Sibshops. Sibshops are for siblings of people experiencing diversabilities. Siblings often become lost among the therapeutic needs of their sibling with a diversability. Sibshops are special times for siblings to participate in fun activities, learn advocacy strategies and self-care techniques, and engage with other siblings sharing similar experiences. Sibshops strive to provide a safe, comfortable space for sharing honestly about what it's like to be the sibling of someone experiencing diversabilities. Our Sibling Support Programs envision a society in which Sibs are acknowledged and honored for who they are and the role they play in complicated family dynamics involving diversabilities.</image:caption>
